Home Health Aides services:

General Caregiving

Associated Family Care Services provides basic personal care and light housekeeping services in situations where a client may be unable to properly care for themselves and manage daily tasks in an independant and safe manner.   Our caregivers know it is very important for our clients to get exercise, eat correctly, get an appropriate amount of rest, and to have something to do during the day to pass the time.   They will encourage clients too exercise regularly, eat a balanced diet (especially fresh fruits and vegetables), and participate in most activities our clients feel comfortable with.

General Caregiving can include:

  • Oral hygiene, skin, hair, & nail care, as well as facial shaving for male patients
  • Exercise programs, transfers, ambulation, and activities as directed by a nurse or therapist
  • Plan, shop for, and prepare nutritious meals (special diet meal when required)

Light Housekeeping or Homemaking

Care for our clients is always first and housekeeping is always second!
Our employees can perform routine cleaning that would normally be done on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis that our clients are unable to manage independantly.   However, this does not include large, seasonal cleaning projects; just basic homemaking.   Associated Family Care Services' main goal is to maintain our clients ability to remain at home and as independant as possible and housekeeping is an integral part of this.

Licensed & Skilled Nurses services:

    • Evaluate and treat all diseases
    • Cardiac Assessment
    • Diabetic Assessment and Teaching
    • Diet Teaching
    • Foley Catheter Care
    • Wound Care
    • Emotional Reassurance
